Where did my paycheck go?

You know you're fucked up when half a month worth of pay vanishes into thin air without you being able to buy anything that can remind you that you actually received a paycheck.

I'm fucked up.

P.S.

Yes, I'm back. And I would never intentionally go on hiatus again. It's BS because I kept on  writing entries, reading blogs and commenting on some. The next time I declare a blog break you can shoot me. Or make me delete this blog. Hahaha.

  3. Worse case scenario, dala ka ng notebook. A close friend/life coach forced me to write down every single expense I made for a week. You'd be surprised how much money you can waste on vices. lol

  4. Hmmm. Subukan ko nga yan. Sa next sweldo, isusulat ko lahat ng pagkakagastusan ko. Para malaman ko kung nao dapat bawasan.

  5. Mahirap talagang magbudget ng pera, lalo na kapag mag-isa ka lang.

I have this thing called Financial Forecasting. It allows one to have a foresight on when and how the money will be budgeted and when he will have enough money to reach a particular goal (savings), when and where to spend such.

  6. What do you mean by mag-isa? Pag single tapos walang ibang pinaglalaanan ng pera except yourself?

I like how that financial forecasting of yours sound.

  11. Pipo... teka.. do you have a ym? I want to ask you something important.

  12. @Pipo: Oo, tulad ko, dahil sa akin lang napupunta sahod ko, mas marami akong options para gastrusin ang pera ko. Daming bayarain... Example: 2 cellphones na parehong nakaline, internet, kuryente, life insurance, condo dues, loan payment, groceries, laundry, tubig, cable, baon pa sa office.

ganyan ang ginawa ko when i got my Christmas bonus last year, before I cashed it, i took several pictures din. Kailangan kasing ma-remember ko ang vonggang-vonggang biyaya.

gave half to my parents and kept the other half to myself.

  19. Welcome back Pipo! Ngiti na. Life goes on.

It's different for me. I stay at Mandaluyong but I'm the breadwinner of the family back at Cavite. So doble ang gastos na kailangang i-budget. Good thing both my parents are accountants, and that I grew up apart from my family. I was pretty much forced to learn how to budget my spending from such a young age. High school pa lang may ledger na ako. I list all cash flows. Being OC is an advantage when it comes to that.

Although the paycheck sublimates, I'm sure the money went somewhere worth going to. Whether it be food, or hanging out with friends.

Work to live, not live to work. Cheer up!

  20. Yep, Red. Life goes on. =]

I'm starting to list down lahat ng pinagkakagastusan ko para ma-track ko saan talaga napapunta pera ko.

Pero I think most of my money went to food (chocolate and other sweets) tska sa mga cute little stuffs na I don't need. Hehe.
